Request for Private Data to Determine Program Eligibility
The Corps receives funds to help eligible individuals get jobs and job training. Because of these funds, the Conservation Corps requests private data that is necessary to determine an individual’s qualifications to participate in the program.

Conservation Corps participants often meet one or more of the following criteria. Meeting this criteria is required for some but not all positions.
  • Participants are low-income (qualify for free and reduced lunch).
  • Participants identify as a racial or ethnic minority that is typically underrepresented in the natural resource field
  • Participants are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Participants meet age and residency requirements
The information from the application will be used by program staff to determine eligibility for participation in each program. Intentional misrepresentation of information will result in dismissal from the Conservation Corps.
